ALIA (Agape Love in Action, Inc.), a nonprofit organization hosted their first fundraiser on June
13, 2015, in Haymarket, VA to increase community awareness about the organization and its
mission. Proceeds from the event will be used to support community outreach efforts that include
helping the homeless in Prince William County. The Help Our Homeless drive is an ongoing
effort that has been a primary focus of the organization’s founder since 2009.
ALIA’s mission is to help those in need. Motivated by our faith, we serve alongside the poor and
oppressed as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.
ALIA, which recently received 501(c) 3 nonprofit status, supports several outreach initiatives
that include, Hope in a Bag, Wisdom Meets Technology, Business Battle Buddy, and Reach 2
Feed. In addition, ALIA sponsors community outreach and development programs which bring
together local service providers and the people in the community who require assistance. ALIA
endeavors to address the physical, emotional, mental, social, and economic wholeness in
individuals, which impacts families and changes communities. ALIA works collaboratively with
faith-based, philanthropic, government, corporate, academic, and community service
organizations to meet the basic human needs of all people by providing tools to enhance whole
For the past twelve years, Corliss Udoema, Founder of ALIA, has sponsored “Bless Others
during June” initiatives. The initiatives which run the entire month of June are Ms. Udoema’s
way of celebrating her birthday. The initiatives vary, but there is one constant, the goal of being a
blessing to others. This year, the goal is to bless the Prince William County Homeless Shelter,
and other local homeless in our community. Please help us by donating wash cloths, towels, and
sheets along with clothing and shoes. You may also donate financially via check or pay online

dropped off at the office during regular business hours (8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday).
