HELPING Our Veterans Achieve their business goals
The mission of Business Battle Buddy is to help veteran-owned small businesses understand how to successfully navigate through the government contracting process. Free services are available to Veterans, Service-Disabled Veterans, Reservists, National Guard Members, and Active Duty business owners and start-up entrepreneurs.
To provide information that veterans need to compete for contracts and subcontracts with the federal government. To achieve this, Business Battle Buddy provides counseling, coaching, and guidance on strategies to help veterans accomplish their business goals and objectives.
With a team of professionals that are knowledgeable in government contracting, we provide tools and resources that enable veterans to evaluate opportunities and become successful entrepreneurs. Through the Business Battle Buddy initiative, service members will learn the nuts and bolts of how to start and grow a business. Business Battle Buddy volunteers provide confidential business mentoring services, both in person and online.
Business Battle Buddy offers seminars and workshops to help veteran-owned small businesses meet their goals and achieve success. We also have entrepreneurial training projects and counseling sessions tailored specifically to address the needs and concerns of the veteran entrepreneur.
This workshop is designed to teach, engage and walk veterans through the various interrelated business processes so that they can successfully participate in the federal contracting process. Our program provides entrepreneurial training through workshops, counseling and technical assistance services. Our focus area is to assist veterans through the critical start up phase of their business cycle with emphasis on their initial phase of government contracting.
Business Battle Buddy conducts entrepreneurial development workshops dealing specifically with the major issues of federal contracting. An important segment of these workshops, we use the Internet as a tool for developing and expanding the business owner’s knowledge of the government contracting process including looking for opportunities, matching potential teaming partners and understanding how to develop a business market strategy for federal contracting.
